Fuel the Student-Athlete. Fund the Weekend.

Brunch League Sports is launching a pilot program to ensure student-athletes have access to meals, structure, and athletic development during weekends, holidays, and summer—when school-based support systems disappear.

Funding Goal: $6,000 to Launch 12 Weekends

We are launching our first cohort of student-athletes for a 12-weekend pilot program.

The Gap

During the week, student-athletes have what they need.

Practices. Teams. Supervision. Meals.

For many, school breakfast and lunch are their most consistent meals.

Then school closes and they have to face the weekends,. Holidays and the long weeks of summer.

Meals disappear. Structure disappears Development stalls. Access breaks down. Participation stops.

What We Solve

Brunch League Sports is built specifically for off-school hours.

We operate during the most critical window:
9:00 AM – 3:00 PM

A “brunch model” that ensures:

  • breakfast access

  • lunch access

  • structured development in between

Because if a student-athlete is not fueled,
they cannot train, compete, or improve.

Why Sports Leads

We don’t build food programs with sports attached.

We build sports environments where nutrition is guaranteed.

Sports:

  • drives consistent attendance

  • removes stigma around meal access

  • builds discipline and accountability

  • creates community and identity

Student-athletes show up to train.

We make sure that when they do—
they are fed, supported, and developed.

The Pilot Program

We are launching a 12-Weekend Pilot Program serving student-athletes (ages 5–17) across the DMV/Baltimore region.

Each session runs:   9:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Each participant will receive:

  • Breakfast + Lunch (Brunch Coverage)

  • Sports and fitness clinics

  • Structured supervision throughout the day

This is intentional development time during the most overlooked hours.

Breaking the Pay-to-Play Model

Traditional youth sports often assume:

  • families can afford participation

  • nutrition is already handled

  • added costs (team snacks, travel, extras) are manageable

For many families, that’s not reality.

Brunch League Sports is designed to:

  • remove financial barriers to participation

  • eliminate food-related pressure on families

  • ensure access is not dependent on income
